Classical guitarist,music producer and cultural manager. Born in Jaen in 1982, he lived in Linares until 1997, year in he moved to Granada. It begins his musical studies with his brother, the pianist and conductor, Manuel J. Coves. After realizing the corresponding academic studies and obtaining the maximum qualifications, from 1997 he is a disciple of legendary Pepe Romero, maximum world exponent of the classic guitar .
It has been acclaimed internationally in his recitals, offered from 11 years of age, there where it has been needed play concerts
He has toured Italy, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Russia, Qatar, Ecuador, Germany, Great Britain,etc.
He has been invited to some of the most important auditoriums over the world, like Great Hall Tchaikovsky (Moscow), Teatro Colòn (Buenos Aires), National Auditorium of Music of Madrid, Auditorium of Zaragoza (Symphonic Room Mozart), Theater Verdi (Florence), Auditorium "Three cultures" Expo-Zaragoza 2008, Theater Lope de Vega ( Sevilla) ,51 Festival Cueva de Nerja, Kolner Philarmonie (Germany), Seoul Arts Center( Corea ), etc.

He has collaborated with conductors like Jean Jacques Kantorow, Adrian Leaper, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Juanjo Mena, Miquel Ortega, Enrique Diemecke, Manuel Hernández-Silva, Manuel Coves, John Neschling, etc.
He has plays along with artists as Pepe Romero, María Bayo, Esperanza Fernández, Horacio Ferrer and Enrique Morente,.
Throughout his career, he has published 8 record records as a soloist, in addition to collaborating in numerous guest productions, among which the DVD - cd “Morente Sueña la Alhambra” (EMI), by the great Enrique Morente.

Vicente Coves' contributions to the world of guitar include world commissions and premieres, as well as first recordings of various works. Among them, the work "Sinfonía a Granada", for soprano guitar and orchestra, by composer Lorenzo Palomo, with text by Luis García Montero and which was composed for Vicente Coves and María Bayo and premiered and recorded for the Naxos label. He also premiered and recorded the "Andalusian Rhapsody" by Ana Muzychenko, in the legendary Symphony Hall "Great Hall Tchaikovsky", Moscow.
In the academic sector, it has offered diverse Masterclass, even like assistant of the legendary Pepe Romero and has promoted a few free Masterclass for the pupils of the Superior Conservatories of Andalusia, in which they could be provided with the education of big teachers, like Romero and the famous Spanish pianist Joaquín Achúcarro, between others. He is an Artistic director of the "Experto Universitario en Interpretaciòn" - that includes diverse instrumental specialties - organized by the International University of Andalusia - Unia-.
In January 2015, Naxos, published the first volume of the integral for guitar and orchestra of Federico Moreno - Torroba, which will comprise three albums recorded all by Pepe Romero, Vicente and Manuel Coves. The second volume will be published in 2017, and has been recorded with the same soloists and conductor with the Extremadura Orchestra. His ninth album, monographic by Astor Piazzolla, with Naxos is in the production phase, and has been recorded with the great Japanese flutist Kazunori Seo.
His work offering his knowledge through Masterclass all over the world, has led him to be invited annually by prestigious universities of the California State University or the
In 2008 he was awarded the "Rubinstein" Medal by the Conservatory
